Rappelz:
Seige for Glory

In an era of gamming where free-2-play MMOs are flooding the market, finding one that doesn't spew mediocrity out of its average behind is like finding internet gold, and that's exactly what Rappelz is; bright, gleaming, 24 karot gold.
There are 3 races to choose from when creating a character in Rappelz, the Deva, Asura, and Gaia, each with its own classes and abilities. The Deva are the Paladins (Holy Warrior in the game) and Clerics (in addition to Breeder being the third Deva class), the Asura are the Assassins (Strider) and Spellcasters (Sorcerer & Dark Mage), and the Gaia are the Warriors (Fighter) but also carry light traits of the other two races with Spell Slinger (Sorcerer) and Kahuna (Cleric). Once you choose your race you will be prompted to chose from a selection of faces and hairstyles.
"Seige for Glory" In the title refers to Rappelz's guild function, where one guild protects a dungeon while another lays seige to it in an epic PvP battle. You are able to create a guild at level 20 for 10,000 rupees.
Character growth is entirely controlled by the player; In addition to your character's normal level you also have a Job level, which are achieved by spending Job Points, which are gained by fighting. By using Job Points you can also increase various stats and learn special abilities and skills. As you level up your Job level more skills and stat upgrades become available.
PvP is possible at anytime by activating PK mode. While in PK mode you will gain infamy points (which attracts other "good" players to hunt you), but you will be able to attack any player you wish. Often parties are seen PvPing against each other for popularity and power. Infamy points are lost over time.
Equipment in the game is sorted into three categorys: Rank I, Rank II, and Rank III. All players begin the game with the ability to equip Rank I equipment, but Rank II items are not available until you reach level 20 (which brings the one major set-back to Rappelz, the beginning of the game is pretty much a power-leveling race to level 20, where you are granted access to all of the game's features). Rank III items are available to players at least level 50.

RATING: ()()()()()()()() (8.0)
Pros: Excellent guild system, graphic & enviorments are beautiful and rewards are well worth striving for. Character development is impressive.
Cons: Game really doesn't start giving until level 20.
