EQ2, more than a game?
MMORPG's (Massively-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games) take on a large percentage of gamers, and Everquest 2 is one of the few quality MMO's out there

Everquest had (and still has) a major success with everquest 1, does Everquest 2 live up to its older brother?
Well, yes, it does.
With amazing graphics, phenomenal animations, and a superior crafting system some might say EQ2 is the best to choose from out of the wide selection that MMO's have to offer.
Making a character is one of the best ive seen, with sliders to change the shape of your nose ears chin eyes etc.. it will give your character a very unique look. There are many races to choose from so have some fun.
Once you have made your character your going to have to pick a class.
You have your main class types, Fighters, Scouts, Priests, and Mages.
Every class type has its own unique use in a group, so be sure to think through what you want to be.
After picking a class you will be asked to pick a game server, there are 3 server types, PvP (Player vs. Player) RP (roleplay) and servers that mix the two.
Once your in its time to play!

EQ2 has an easy to use interface so its fun to get in and play, combat is fluid and really fun to look at, you gain a new ability every level so you will be sure to have a wide array of skills to use during combat to keep it fresh and fun all the way up to level 70.

But killing monsters isint all you can do!
Crafting is a big part of EQ2 mainly because that it what controlls the economy within your server.

You find crafting materials by venturing outside and, harvesting wood, fishing, mining etc..
Once you gather your materials and start making simple items your tradeskill level will start to raise and you can then make better stronger more usefull things.

The community is one of the most mature, helpfull that I have seen in an MMO, which is a very strong factor in an MMORPG seeing that you have to work with other in order to make it far into the game.

EQ2 is still very much alive and fun. Join up and join the game where "Adventure comes alive."

Pros: Great graphics fun combat system, great community, all arround great game!

Cons: You have to pay monthly, and not all computers can handle it.
